Research on the Construction Path of University Campus Cultural Space from the Perspective of Aesthetic Education Immersion

Abstract：Aesthetic education is an indispensable part of the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education in higher education, and immersive aesthetic education takes situational penetration, subtle influence and whole-person cultivation as its core characteristics, which has become an important direction of current university aesthetic education reform and campus cultural construction. University campus cultural space is the implicit educational carrier of aesthetic education infiltration, bearing the important functions of shaping students’ aesthetic cognition, cultivating aesthetic temperament, and improving humanistic literacy. A high-quality immersive campus cultural space can realize “education without teaching”, enable students to perceive beauty, appreciate beauty and create beauty in daily campus life, and effectively make up for the deficiencies of traditional classroom aesthetic education such as isolated teaching, formalized content and limited influence. At present, however, the construction of university campus cultural space in China generally faces practical dilemmas such as utilitarian construction orientation, single spatial form, disjointed aesthetic connotation, fragmented cultural atmosphere and lack of immersive experience. Most campus space construction pays too much attention to functional hardware facilities, ignores the integration of aesthetic elements and cultural connotations, resulting in the separation of campus space and aesthetic education infiltration, which cannot give full play to the educational value of spatial aesthetics. Based on the immersive aesthetic education theory, spatial production theory and humanistic education theory, this paper adopts literature research, field investigation, comparative analysis and case empirical research methods to systematically analyze the internal logical relationship between aesthetic education immersion and university campus cultural space construction. This paper sorts out the current situation and prominent problems of campus cultural space construction under the perspective of aesthetic education infiltration, explores the core principles of immersive aesthetic spatial construction, and constructs a multi-dimensional and operable construction path covering material space, cultural space, emotional space and interactive space. The research aims to build a whole-process, all-round and immersive campus aesthetic education environment, realize the deep integration of campus space construction and aesthetic education cultivation, and provide theoretical support and practical reference for high-quality university campus cultural construction and innovative development of aesthetic education in the new era.
