Research on the Construction and Development of the Middle School Chinese Teachers Team from the Perspective of Human Resource Management

Abstract：As a core discipline in basic education, middle school Chinese education is highly dependent on the professional quality, hierarchical structure, and developmental vitality of Chinese teachers. From the perspective of human resource management (HRM), the construction of the middle school Chinese teacher’s team is restricted by prominent dilemmas, including unbalanced staffing, outdated training systems, rigid performance appraisal, a single incentive mechanism, and inadequate career planning. Based on literature analysis and comparative analysis, this study integrates Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Herzberg's two-factor theory, human capital theory, and performance management theory to analyze the realistic dilemmas of middle school Chinese teachers’ team construction. It constructs a five-dimensional HRM closed-loop framework covering recruitment and staffing, training and development, performance management, motivation and retention, and career planning, and puts forward targeted optimization strategies. This study aims to provide theoretical support and practical references for promoting the professional and high-quality development of the middle school Chinese teachers team and improving the quality of basic education.
