Abstract:With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform, primary school music education has gradually moved away from knowledge-oriented teaching towards a teaching method focused on aesthetic experience and the all-round development of literacy. Since dance is often closely associated with music, adding some dance activities to the music classroom can help students feel the harmony of rhythm, melody and expression better in general. This paper is based on integrating elements of dance into primary school music classes to explore how to foster students' aesthetic sense, proposing that through participation in dance, students can strengthen their intuition and sense of unity in understanding music through bodily experience; thus, classroom participation and the depth of artistic experience will be increased. In teaching practice, attention should be paid to the age-appropriateness of movement design, the connection between music and movement, as well as the overall construction of the classroom situation, in order to optimise the quality of music aesthetic education.
