The Integration and Application of AI Intelligence in the Teaching of Translation Courses for English Majors

Abstract：Artificial intelligence technology is profoundly reshaping the ecology of the language service industry and driving the systematic reform of translation courses for English majors in universities. Traditional translation teaching fails to adapt to the new industrial standards of human-machine collaboration and controllable translation delivery, resulting in disconnection between talent training and market demands. This study focuses on the integrated application of AI and translation teaching, and conducts in-depth exploration from three dimensions: teaching advantages, application principles and practical implementation strategies. It constructs a full-process teaching system featuring human-machine collaboration, two-round iterative training and multi-dimensional evaluation mechanism. The research results effectively strengthen students’ core competencies in tool selection, translation control and linguistic asset reuse, facilitate the transformation of translation teaching from basic language training to professional competency cultivation, and provide practical references for the intelligent reform of college translation courses.
