Abstract:Amid escalating climate pressures, heightened societal expectations, and evolving governance models, enterprises confront unprecedented systemic challenges. Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors have shifted from peripheral moral considerations to core strategic frameworks for sustainable development. This paper, grounded in curriculum theory, examines how ESG—via value reconfiguration, materiality assessment, stakeholder collaboration, and lifecycle management—guides firms from single-profit maximization toward multifaceted composite value creation. Findings indicate ESG serves not merely as risk mitigation but as a critical pathway to durable competitive advantage. Its efficacy hinges on conceptual integration depth, governance embeddedness, and ecological synergy. Through shared value creation, firms can attain high-quality development while addressing societal problems.

Keywords: ESG ; shared value ; sustainable Business Strategy ; stakeholder collaboration ; composite value
